An invitation to the mountains

Maison des Aigles sits in a hamlet nestled in the wilderness of the French Pyrenees. From October to June, it is offered as a quiet refuge for anyone seeking space to rest, think, or find fresh creative inspiration.

Here, the air is cool, the mountains rise on every side, and the stillness is palpable.

This is a home designed for rest and for deep focus. With stone walls, high beams, exterior doors on three levels, and direct views onto the mountains, Maison des Aigles offers tranquility and inspiration alike.

Whether you are writing, taking time to think, or recalibrating your life, this is somewhere you can restore yourself and create something meaningful.

A place to rest, think, create

Explore the house
Maison des Aigles has emerged from my own time of transition. It is a place that accompanied my shift from mental burnout towards a more intentional and creative life.

Now it is offered to others who need the same spaciousness. As you look up to the peaks where golden eagles nest, you will find here a special place where projects take shape and you can find your way back to yourself.

Mini-sabbaticals

Outside the peak summer months, Maison des Aigles opens its doors at a special rate to people seeking an affordable and atmospheric place to work and find restoration away from distractions.

You have the house entirely to yourself, with the space and quiet to write a chapter, develop ideas, or simply take a creative pause. There are no obligations. We offer an optional check-in call once you arrive, to help you think about how best to use your time at the house.

If this resonates, we’d love to hear from you. Mini-sabbaticals are available for blocks of one to four weeks between October and June, via a simple application process.
